Original Component

Authentic Neo Geo, carefully restored.

The Original Experience

The Original Component model is designed for players who want to experience Neo Geo as it was originally intended.

Every console is carefully cleaned, fully inspected, and thoroughly tested before shipment to ensure reliable operation.

Each console receives a full capacitor replacement as part of the restoration process, along with practical enhancements such as a socketed BIOS, US region BIOS, and RGB bypass.

These improvements are intended to support long-term use, serviceability, and video quality while preserving the original character of the hardware.

Component video is provided through our custom-designed RGB to Component (YPbPr) Video Converter, developed specifically for use with the Neo Geo AES.

This provides an easy and reliable connection to compatible displays while preserving the authentic Neo Geo experience.

Audio output

The red and white audio connectors on the Component Video Converter output the same mono audio signal to both left and right channels. This is dual mono, not stereo.

It is our standard restoration model, created for players who simply want to enjoy Neo Geo as it was originally meant to be experienced.
