Stereo SCART
Enhanced stereo audio with switchable original AV configuration, native RGB output, and built-in save memory.
Internal Stereo Audio
The Stereo SCART model is designed for players who want to enjoy stereo audio together with the native RGB video output of the Neo Geo AES, while preserving the option to return to the original AV configuration when needed.
Stereo audio is provided through a dedicated internal audio amplification circuit and the included Stereo SCART cable, allowing native RGB video and stereo audio to be carried through the Neo Geo AV connection.
Internal view of the dedicated stereo audio upgrade.
Switchable Stereo / Mono AV Configuration
The console normally operates in Stereo mode, providing native RGB video and stereo audio through the included Stereo SCART cable.
A dedicated internal switch allows the AV port to be returned to the original Neo Geo AES configuration when needed. In Mono mode, the audio output returns to the original mono configuration.
Stereo / Mono mode selector installed inside the console.
Built-in Save Memory
Save game data without an external Memory Card.
When an external Neo Geo Memory Card is inserted, the console automatically switches to the external card.
The built-in memory uses FRAM technology, so no battery is required to retain saved data.
Restored for Long-Term Use
Every console is carefully cleaned, fully inspected, and thoroughly tested before shipment to ensure reliable operation.
This model includes full capacitor replacement, a socketed BIOS, US region BIOS, and an RGB bypass to improve long-term reliability, serviceability, and video output quality.
SCART provides a native RGB video connection for compatible displays and scalers, preserving the original RGB video output of the Neo Geo AES.
